Cisco introduced two new switches: Cisco Nexus 9504 and Cisco Nexus 9516 Nexus 9000 line. Together Nexus switches 9000, a centralized, policy-based automation, the controller implemented Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC), and application profiles to help organizations create secure cloud network and hybrid clouds.
Cisco also unveiled the completion line Nexus 3000 : the new switch Nexus 3164Q, designed for demanding tasks performed in massively scalable data centers (massively scalable data centers, MSDC), and to work with large data. Using programmable functional line Cisco 9000 switch Nexus 3164Q supports various automation tools necessary providers of cloud services, including Linux Container, XML, JSON, Puppet / Chef, Python and OpenStack. The Cisco Nexus 3000 form the basis of 8 out of 10 networks of leading cloud providers.
