Yesterday, Google announced a new version of its mobile operating system, which was code-named Android M. During the presentation were identified six major features of the new operating system, which are listed in our yesterday’s article. The final version of the new mobile operating system Google is not necessary to wait until the autumn, but the trial version of Android M Developer Preview with the corresponding SDK are available for developers. By the way, SDK includes a simulator program that allows you to familiarize yourself with the Android M via a PC (supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems).
Here, however , there is a caveat: the moment test assembly Android M Developer Preview is available only to owners of the four devices of the family Nexus – Nexus 5 smartphone and Nexus 6 Nexus tablet 9 and set-top boxes Nexus Player. Everyone else may be advisable to be patient and wait a bit. It is fairly safe to assume that in the near future a list of supported devices will be extended as to release the final version of Android M will get at least two updates. Out first is scheduled for late June-early July, and the second is expected to become available in late July. Consequently, the developers of third-party applications will have several months to make the necessary changes and adapt their own software to the features of the new mobile platform Google.
