Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 (2012), can get Android M

The company will release the next version of Google’s Android operating system later this year. As before, it will get the first line of branded phones Nexus. However, here there are some nuances.

In particular, the company’s policy states that the Nexus line of gadgets to help get major OS upgrade for two years, and then they will have to settle for only critical security updates. Thus, Android M will not come on the Nexus 4 (mako), Nexus 10 (manta) and Nexus 7 (2012) (grouper). Or at least that’s what was previously thought.

The other day in the repository was found AOSP source code Android M technical previews for these devices, which may be an indirect sign of preparing for their update. Of course, this fact is a guarantee can not be called, but one of the signs – certainly. In any case, users of these devices is too early to rejoice, but now there is at least some hope.
