Today, we once again heard that this year, HTC is responsible for creating two brand smartphones Nexus from Google. And maybe one of them had just been seen in the base of the benchmark data.
An intriguing entry “google Nexus 6P” is available in the online data base of Geekbench. The name pretty much identical to the previous device, which was announced last year, but the current Nexus 6P has other equipment.
And it works on the chipset Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm (and not 810, as the model 2015) and it comes with 4 GB of RAM (instead of 3, as in the existing Nexus 6P). The prototype at the time the test was running Android N, which makes sense, considering that Google has already released the first two pre-assembly of the version of its mobile OS for developers.
It seems likely that Google will stick to the name Nexus 6p PHABLET Nexus for this year, simply by changing the hardware and, if necessary, the manufacturer. The product can be created by HTC, as the rumors claimed some time ago. On the other hand, may simply Huawei and Google are working on a small update to the specifications of the existing Nexus 6P, changing the used chipset and RAM. If so, then the upgraded smartphone can be formally presented already at Google I / O in the next month.
