Studio Whitebox Interactive announced the development of games based on the universe of Warhammer 40K. Novelty called Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena.
The authors have declared that we are waiting for a mixture of shooter with a view from the top and classic MOBA-games. We develop the software for PC only. Perhaps in the future the project will be released on other platforms, but this staff Whitebox yet not ready to talk. Details promise to present at the exhibition PAX East, which will be held from 6 to 8 March in Boston (USA).
At the same event promises to present the first working prototype of the project. And by the end of the second quarter of this year, the game is scheduled to start early access program. Buy this version yet only at the project site for $ 25. But even so, wait for the full release will have another year: finished version promise to release no earlier than 2016.
Players go to Kommorag, the capital of the Dark Eldar where they have to fight for one of three factions: Tau, Orks and Space Marines. Each team will include four players leading the fight akin to how it works in many other MOBA-games. A little later, promise to add a few more fractions, among which are the Eldar and their dark counterparts, as well as the Sisters of Battle.
