IFixit experts praised the maintainability of the smartphone Nexus 5X – ITC.ua

The experts iFixit have at their disposal a new smartphone Nexus 5X and the verdict about its maintainability.

Recall smartphone Nexus 5X is manufactured by LG. This device uses 5.2-inch IPS display with a Full HD resolution, 6-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 808 1.8 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal flash memory. The device also includes a 12.3-megapixel main camera with autofocus laser system, 5-megapixel camera on the front panel, a fingerprint scanner and port USB Type-C.

Smartphone Nexus 5X disassembled into individual components, experts iFixit awarded the new product maintainability rating 7 out of 10. Note the maximum score of 10 corresponds to the most easily repairable devices. Thus, if necessary, the device can be fairly easily repaired. Here are the following features:

• Many of the components are modular and can be replaced independently of each other;
• The standard Phillips screws do not create a

problem finding a screwdriver;

The battery is not directly available to the user, but if necessary, it is not very difficult to replace;

The display module combines glass and an LCD panel. In the event of failure of one component will change the entire module.
