At one of the forums Reddit community members posted photos taken on the iPhone 6 prototype Nexus 6P (ON here almost final, and particularly from October 1).

Photos taken on the iPhone 6, significantly China Resources inferior machine. The difference is noticeable to the naked eye: where on the iPhone 6 have to think through the details, Nexus 6P shows the area in detail. This is especially noticeable in the distant objects, such as buildings where the contour of the house simply merges with the sky on the iPhone 6 and easily distinguishable on the photo with the Nexus.
Let’s remind, in the iPhone 6 is mounted 8-megapixel camera with a pixel size 1.5 micron aperture f / 2.2, but used Nexus 6P 12.3-megapixel sensor c pixel size of 1.55 microns and aperture f / 2.0. Note the file with the iPhone 6 in the examples is about 1 MB, while the Nexus 6P about 4 MB.
It should be noted that in recent years the quality of photos that can be done on the smartphone, significantly increased and ordinary people increasingly refuse from buying “Soap”, relying on PhotoChances handheld gadget. But when it comes to photos in low light conditions, smartphones give far better pictures. In the case of Nexus 6P (price in Russian), the situation is not so frustratingly, in most cases. It seems that soon will be the lot of professional photographic equipment.
