One of the advantages of mobile devices in the Nexus series is the promptness in receiving updates of the Android operating system. Usually you can install the update immediately after the release of the new OS. But you should not always hurry. For some Nexus 5X install the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat may cause malfunction of the device.
Some owners of Nexus 5X started to report the problem, which arose after updating to Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone starts to randomly reboot. Moreover, clearing cache, resetting to factory settings and booting in safe mode does not allow you to get rid of the problem.
About this failure became known in the end of August, related posts started appearing on the Nexus support forum. But a few days ago, Google representatives were able to understand the situation (although the investigation is still ongoing) and to make appropriate recommendations. Unfortunately, the problem has a hardware nature and not subject to correction programmatically. The owners of the troubled devices are advised to contact the point of sale for repair or warranty replacement phone.
