Apple has slightly modified its range of iPad last September in order to remove the last of the models with 16 Gb of storage and replace them with models shipping 32 Gb of storage (read : The iPad drop out of the capacity of 16 Gb). The range of tablets Apple is not the least aging and updates expected to be released during the spring. According to the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple would have planned three new models of iPad : iPad Pro 2 with a diagonal of 12.9″, one model with 9.7″ entry (to replace iPad Air 2 ?), as well as a model with a screen between 10″ and 10.5″, which would have margins very thin around its screen. New iPad mini will be unfortunately not of the party, deemed too unprofitable.
The arrival of a new model iPad to the reduced margins back in the rumour mill for a few months already. Apple has indeed made substantial progress on this front and this new iPad, which could be particularly high-end, could be a taste of what we can expect with the iPhone 8 next September (read : 2017, the year of the screens without margin ?). If Apple adheres to its usual timetable, a special event expected to be organized in march or April, the perfect opportunity to unveil these new tablets.
