Android 7.0 will soon become available for Nexus … – Babbler.Me (Registration) (Blog)

Google has released the official version of Android 7.0 Nougat. In the near future it will be available for current Nexus-devices: Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player and Pixel C.

 In some countries, people already receiving OTA-upgrade, but the Russians may have to wait a few weeks. Much less would be a long wait if to flash a phone by downloading an image from the official Google site for developers. However, as of this writing Android 7.0 Nougat is not there.

Google released Android N Developer Preview, that is, the first version of the system, in March. The main features of the updated energy-saving system became Doze and notifications menu, VR-mode technology support Vulkan, split-screen modes and the “picture in picture”.
