Android 4.4 KitKat life continues to delight smartphones. Some devices it only promised, others have already received an official update over the air. In this article we have compiled the latest information on what other models will receive formal or improvised upgrade to version 4.4.
Nexus S and Nexus One
One arguments for buying smartphones Nexus – timely updates. First of Nexus devices are also sometimes almost forgotten, but then getting into the act developers custom OS. Suggested firmware is certainly not ideal, but the opportunity to get the latest version of Android on older devices from Google intriguing.
Nexus One was the first device in the Nexus lineup and came out with version Android 2.1 Eclair. Developer texacise firmware released for it called Evervolv KitKat 4.4. iznachalngoNexus S came out with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is largely similar to Nexus One. Developer cn.fyodor created alpha 3 firmware ROM, which for its age device works well. Google apps work c faults, but this is probably the only downside. Both assemblies will be improved and become even better.
HTC One and Galaxy S4 Google Edition
The top flagships 2013 without firm shells Sense and TouchWiz one of the first upgraded to Android 4.3 and as confidently get the next version of the OS. HTC One from Google met with KitKat on Nov. 25, and Galaxy S4 – 26th.
LG G2
LG G2 entered the market with rather modest as the flagship version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Koreans promised to update their offspring to KitKat, but it will not happen soon. The firmware will be ready by the end of the first quarter of next year, and taking into account possible delays – not earlier than April-May 2014.
