Google announced the Nexus-update devices on Android 5.0 – 3DNews

Owners Nexus devices have begun to worry about updating their devices to the new version of the mobile platform Google – because users LG G3, Moto G and Moto X already starting to get new clothes. Fortunately, Google is not going to weary fans reference devices – the company announced the launch of the deployment updates Android 5.0 Lollipop for smartphone and tablet lineup Nexus.

OTA-update will soon appear on all devices Nexus 5, Nexus 10 and Wi -Fi-variants of the Nexus 7 (both 2012 and 2013). Now it remains only to wait for the queue (as usual, the update is happening in stages), but for the most impatient available official images and binary drivers that allow machines to sew by hand.

All of the images have Android 5.0 version LRX21, but it is important not to be mistaken with model of the device before flashing. Of course, this method would require a complete renovation to reset the device, so it is unlikely many will like this option – most likely prefer to wait for the receipt of OTA-update. But whatever method was not selected wireless or firmware, do not forget about backup.

Unfortunately, not all phones Nexus receive in the coming days firmware Android 5.0 Lollipop. And it is not even on devices like the Nexus One, Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, which has not received the official update Android 4.4 KitKat – Lollipop is no firmware for the Nexus 7 tablet with support for cellular networks and for Nexus 4. Apparently, the promised firmware linger for a few days until Google happen to upgrade to the required quality.
