Google introduced Android 5.0.1 AOSP, and firmware for some devices Nexus – 3DNews

Most modern Nexus-devices already received the latest firmware based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. In this case, Google has already prepared a small update platform, which apparently also appears primarily on devices Nexus. Repository Android Open Source Project has added assembly Android LXR22C (Android-5.0.1-r1).

The full list of changes is not reported, but obviously we are talking only about small innovations and improvements. It is curious that, shortly after the publication of updates to the repository AOSP search giant introduced and official images of multiple Nexus-aids. While we are talking only about 9 Nexus, Nexus July 2013 (Wi-Fi version) and Nexus 10 – these three handsets in the coming days will begin to receive OTA-new clothes.

It is interesting that the Nexus 6, Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 have not yet received the new images, as well as tablet Nexus 7, 2012. By the way, the version of the Nexus 7 tablet Nexus in 2012 and in July 2013 with the support of cellular networks is still waiting for the output image even Android 5.0, even though many third-party smartphones and tablets have already received new firmware-based Lollipop.

By the way, after the initial update some devices like Moto G and Moto X by Motorola, LG G3, NVIDIA Shield Tablet other manufacturers to catch up in no hurry. Even so eminent as Samsung and Sony, will update their flagship phones soon next year. By the way, HTC after promises of fast new things several times postponed the output OTA-update Lollipop even for HTC One M7 and M8 versions of Google Play Edition.
