Users of the popular resource XDA continue to explore the system files of the new smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL from Google. Previously, they managed to extract the APK files of the new voice assistant Google Assistant and updated Phone dialer Google. Now they managed to get the new camera app version 4.2, which looks a little different than what is currently available in Google Play, but still has a number of important changes. The app itself is designed for Android 7.1, but the developers have managed to run it on the Nexus and 5X 6P running Android 7.0.
Among the innovations worth mentioning is the ability to manually adjust exposure on the shooting screen, the home screen icon grid with the new settings (no longer need to look for it in the settings), and lock focus and exposure with a long press on the screen. It is also possible to switch between main and front cameras by the movement of the wrist in smartphones from Motorola.
